Shamil Translation provided professional
English–Arabic interpretation services for the
Regional Workshop on Responsible AI Governance in the Arab States, held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, on 16–17 September 2026.
The two-day workshop brought together representatives from government bodies, national human rights institutions, the private sector, civil society, and regional and international organizations. With participants communicating in both Arabic and English, accurate interpretation was essential to keep discussions clear and accessible throughout the event.
Interpretation Support Throughout the Workshop
Shamil Translation supported the workshop with professional interpretation between Arabic and English during presentations, discussions, and participant exchanges.
The programme covered subjects related to responsible artificial intelligence, governance, transparency, accountability, inclusion, non-discrimination, and human rights. Because of the specialist nature of the sessions, the interpreters needed to handle technical and policy-related terminology carefully while preserving the meaning and tone of each speaker.
The aim was simple: to help participants follow the discussion comfortably and communicate without language becoming an obstacle.
