Shamil Translation provided Chinese–English technical interpretation for a dome tent fabric replacement project at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.
The assignment supported communication between Chinese-speaking technical personnel and English-speaking project stakeholders during the replacement work. The interpreter helped both parties understand instructions, technical discussions and on-site requirements throughout the project.
Technical interpretation differs from general business interpretation because the interpreter must understand the context of equipment, materials and installation procedures.
The assignment required clear communication relating to the dome structure, replacement fabric, measurements, work sequencing and site coordination.
The interpreter also needed to support live exchanges between the technical teams as the work progressed.
The project involved construction and installation terminology that needed to be communicated accurately between Chinese and English.
Instructions and questions arose during the work itself. The interpreter therefore needed to respond quickly and communicate information clearly in an active technical environment.
The assignment ran from 27 April to 12 May 2026. Consistent terminology and communication were important throughout the 16-day project.
